Extraction Pod FAQs
The average time from the initial placement of your order to shipping date is approximately 3-4 weeks. Orders currently in the queue, changes in the order, payment complications, or challenges receiving custom parts could affect the timing of delivery. Clear communication help maintain a smooth order and delivery process.
Sometimes we are asked about building a 20-foot pod instead of a 40-foot pod. Of course, this can be done, and we are happy to accommodate your request if that is your desire. However, we do like to inform our clients that you can get twice as much space for only a little more cost. That extra space could serve as a lab or extra workspace or a larger C1D1 area. Think of what you may need in the future.
We have a fair and competitive price based on whatever model you choose. All prices are FOB Union Point, Georgia. A $25,000 deposit is required at the time the order is placed. The total cost of your extraction pod will vary depending on your customization. Unless your individual requirements are substantial, there is typically little to no additional charge to have your pod built exactly like you want. We encourage you to call us at 678-591-9292 to discuss your individual needs.
No, the cost of the extraction pod does not include the extraction equipment. However, we can consult with you about your extraction needs to help you set up your extraction facility. We recommend calling us to discuss this option – 678-591-9292.
Your pod is a one-time use shipping container that has come from overseas. There are no pods made in the U.S. They are generally a light beige/cream color. You can choose the “no paint” option to save money or you can customize the paint to your choice. This additional cost will be itemized on your custom order once your specifications are determined. We apply a full two coats of superior quality Sherwin Williams paint especially formulated for metal.
All the mechanical and electrical components that are put into the pods that we custom make are UL listed. We have a licensed design from HAL Extraction which is the only UL-listed design currently on the market. We work with companies to secure the best and most reliable individual parts and components that meet or exceed the building extraction standards. Local fire codes vary across the country, and you will likely need to seek the advice of your local Fire Marshall regarding the requirements where your business is located.
You do have an additional option for the non-classified area as an add-on with your customized package. We can install a Gree split-mini 36,000 BTU HVAC system with a two, ceiling mounted cassettes or on a smaller scale, provide a 24,000 BTU system with 1 ceiling cassette.
Yes, they do. We take safety very seriously and go the extra mile in our building process to consider safety first. The last thing we, or anyone would want to do, is to intentionally leave out precautionary safety measures or safety aspects of the building process. It’s very important for you to follow the safety SOP protocols in your extraction process and those provided to you from your extraction machine manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the owners and users of your extraction facility to know and understand the hazards of your extraction business.
All the individual components included in the build-out of our pods have warranties from their respective manufacturers. These warranties vary in scope and length of time. We will be happy to provide copies of these individual warranties to you.
